Sow. is a private rental home in a traditional house at the top of Onomichi's brick slope. We want it to be more than a place to stay—a place where something can begin.
It need not be a grand achievement. A small discovery on your journey, the first step in making something, the seed of a new conversation. We hope what is sown here will sprout somewhere in your everyday life after you return home.

Onomichi's townscape, with the Shimanami Kaido stretching beyond. The view from the house is perhaps the first thing we want you to experience at Sow. Morning light, evening colors, and the glow of night—each hour reveals a different expression.

ATELIER
Room to make things.
Next to the main house is a two-story atelier of approximately 94 m². It is a place for making—ideal for workshops, exhibitions, photography, and more.

The original layout, preserved.
The entire 5DK main house is yours. Tatami rooms, an engawa veranda, and a tokonoma alcove. While carefully updating the house, we preserved the form it has always had.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay
The house is equipped with the essentials for a comfortable stay, from the kitchen to the bathrooms and laundry, so larger groups and longer visits feel easy.
ACCESS
At the gateway to the Seto Inland Sea and the Shimanami Kaido.
Onomichi, Hiroshima. This is where the Shimanami Kaido begins on Honshu, at the gateway to the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. From Onomichi Station, it is about a 20-minute walk. Pass through the shopping arcade and head uphill. Sow. awaits at the top of a brick slope framed by stone steps and old walls. If you arrive by car, you can drive only as far as the foot of the hill. The final few minutes must be climbed on foot. When the view opens and the town and sea appear, your stay has already begun. We recommend packing light and wearing comfortable clothes.

About a 20-minute walk from JR Onomichi Station.
By car
Cars cannot reach the property. Please use spaces 6–9 at Times B Onomichi Rengazaka Minami Parking, a 4-minute walk away.
By bus
The nearest bus stop is Saikokuji-shita, a 5-minute walk away. Buses depart from Onomichi Station.
